In 1966, people in Mexico built a dam to keep water. Behind the dam, there was a church(教堂). People went to church on Sundays. But after people built the dam, the church went underwater. Spanish(西班牙人) built the church in 1564.
There is no rain for a long time in Mexico now. The water of the lake behind the dam goes down by 24 meters. The church is in the sun again. So many people are coming to see it. People saw the church about ten years ago. It was in 2002. There was also no rain for a long time, and the church came out to people. At that time the water was so low that people could walk around the church.
