The first thing we noticed in California was that the weather was a lot cooler. It wasn’t like freezing or anything. Here, it was cloudy and windy. What caught our attention again was the large number of homeless people here, not as many as in Los Angeles but still very noticeable. As we ate a late snack in Mcdonald’s, a homeless lady came in and it was clear that she wanted something to eat. She was wrapped in a long blanket although it was very dirty. We saw other homeless people just sleeping on the hard concrete. It was sad to see that.

我第一次到加利福尼亚就注意到天气更凉爽。它没有像冰冻或者其他的，这儿的天气多云，多风。又一次吸引我们的眼球的是这儿有大量的无家可归者，虽然没有洛杉矶那么多，但还是很吸引人注意的。当我们在麦当劳吃夜宵时，一个无家可归的妇女走了进来。很明显她想要一些吃的东西。她被一件长毛毯包裹着，但是毛毯很脏。我们看到其他的无家可归者就睡在坚硬的水泥地上，看到这些我们很悲伤。

When in San Francisco, the main attraction to see is the Golden Gate Bridge. The most iconic structure in California—we had read that it was the most photographed structure in the world! As soon as we saw the famous red bridge, we both immediately started taking pictures. We later learned on the tour how and why the bridge was built. We walked along a short section of the bridge to get a better look at how this huge suspension bridge is supported.

当在旧金山时，主要景点是金门大桥。它是加州最有特色的建筑——我们读到了它是世界上颜值最高的建筑！我们一看到这著名的红桥，我们两个都立即开始照相。后来我们在旅途中了解到这座桥是怎样建造，为何要这样建造。为了更好的看看这座巨大的悬置桥是如何支撑的，我们沿着桥的一部分走。

At the end of the tour, our guide told us about a street festival on 16th. We didn’t want to miss out anything, so we jumped on the bus there.

在旅途的最后，导游告诉我们16号有一个街道节日。我们不想错过任何事，所以我们跳上公交车，直奔那儿。
